One day Marguerite, a young princess of the kingdom of Lunaria, rushes recklessly into the forest, where she is kidnapped by a wolf. Later, a warrior named Chistoph, from the village of Elbe and a childless father, saves her life. From that moment Marguerite begins to live with Cristoph, from whom she is raised as a boy and takes the name of Nicola. The story starts ten years later, with Nicola and two of his friends as protagonists.
