Nakahara Tougo is a sophomore from class E who was a former shut-in. In his attempt to overcome his past trauma, he decided to have a makeover for high school and as a result, he now plays the part of a silent and cool lone wolf.

Then there's Igarashi Sakura, also a sophomore but from class F, a bright but not serious guy that is always the center of attention in class.

In the spring of their second year of high school, an unexpected incident led to them starting to hang out with each other and now they have become close yet not so close at the same time.
