The year is 12,090 A.D., and what little is left of humanity has finally crawled out from the ashes of war and destruction. Kikuchi personally selected Saiko Takaki, a doujinshi and graphic designer illustrator who has worked on numerous projects for the manga and game industries in Japan, to be the mangaka responsible for the adaptation of his successful novel series into manga form.
